Playbill for The Plymouth Theatre-1968-"Plaza Suite"-6" X 9"-40 pages-theatre program. This vintage Playbill features the 1968 Broadway play-"Plaza Suite" starring E.G.Marshall and Maureen Stapleton.Plaza Suite is a comedy play by Neil Simon.After two previews, the Broadway production, directed by Mike Nichols, opened on February 14, 1968 at the Plymouth Theatre, where it ran for 1097 performances. George C. Scott and Maureen Stapleton appeared in each of the three acts. Later in the run, they were replaced by Dan Dailey, E. G. Marshall, Don Porter, Nicol Williamson, Barbara Baxley, and Peggy Cass.

Mike Nichols won the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play. Neil Simon was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play but lost to Tom Stoppard for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Maureen Stapleton was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play but lost to Zoe Caldwell in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. The Playbill has been autographed on the front cover by E.G.Marshall and Maureen Stapleton...............BOTH PLAYBILL AND AUTOGRAPHS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION..................
