Playbill for the Cort Theatre-"Advise And Consent"-1961-6" X 9"-36 photos-theatre program. This vintage Playbill features Richard Kiley and Ed Begley in the 1961 production of "Advise And Consent".....Richard Paul Kiley (March 31, 1922 March 5, 1999) was an American stage, television, and film actor. He is best known for his voice work, as narrator of various documentary series, and for having played Don Quixote in the original 1965 production of the Broadway musical Man of La Mancha. Kiley was the first to sing and record The Impossible Dream, the hit song from the show. In the 1953 hit musical Kismet, he played the Caliph, and introduced the song Stranger in Paradise....Ed Begley Senior He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Sweet Bird of Youth (1962). Some of his other notable films include 12 Angry Men (1957) and The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964). He also worked extensively in television, appearing in guest roles in such programs as Bonanza, The Fugitive, and Target: The Corruptors! In the 1952-1953 season, he co-starred with Eddie Albert in the CBS sitcom, Leave It to Larry. Begley though only five years older than Albert played the father-in-law and employer of Albert's character, Larry Tucker, a shoe salesman, who with his young family lives with Begley.The Playbill has been autographed on the front by Richard Kiley and Ed Begley......BOTH PLAYBILL AND AUTOGRAPHS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION......................
